Fate Vs Destiny- Know the True Difference

In my last blog "Let's Redefine Our Own Destiny", I mentioned about how the actions of our past lead us to where we are today. In simple words, A journey from Actions to Reactions is defined as Destiny.

But sometimes we misunderstand our Destiny with Fate. Many of us are not aware of the Difference between Destiny and Fate. 

 

A predetermined course of Action which is decided by a natural order in the Universe is known as Fate.

In simple words, A journey of an individual which starts inside the womb of mother, growing of that child from kid to an Adult, performing his duties based upon his doings and then ultimately he dies, might be at a young age or might be at an older age.

This is the course of action predefined by the Universe and so it is defined as Fate.


But During his journey of life, whatever life makes him face and whatever actions are taken by him are the results of Destiny. 

A Destiny is something that has been influenced by our own actions or Actions done by surroundings which has brought us to the situation that we are into. But Fate means an uncontrollable force which an individual can never define as it cannot be sensed by Natural Instincts of Humans.


To understand this more deeply and easily, one brain storming question to all,

Is the End of the Universe that we all hear about i.e. The Kalyug which is going to end after some hundreds of years, a fate or a Destiny?

According to me, whatever that is happening in this Living World is nothing but the Actions of Humans, steps that we have taken in the past, present and future in the name of Developments, in the name of Advancements, in the name of showing the world what we are capable of doing are going to be the reason of the End that we are going to face in the Future and so can't we relate the End of Kalyug as a Destiny?


"Humans" are someone who is responsible for degrading the environment for the advancements that we want to do. 

Engineers and scientists are someone currently trying to bring products that are "Environmental Friendly" but we forget that we are the one's whose advancement have already degraded the Environment a lot.

So can we say that the tsunami or earthquake because of which many people die is a part of Human Action and so the End that is Destined will also be because of Human Actions only?


Examples of successfully matched Couple Marriage getting Divorced, an unexpected accident where we think that we were not at all responsible for that accident, a fight between 2 persons, A cricket Match where a winning team suddenly loses, a person who gets sick with some incurable disease, all these episodes are something where we try to blame our fate for the same but we forget that all these episodes can only take place because of our Past actions where we didn't paid attention to some changes that were already happening in our life. 

Thinking of all these episodes as Fate brings us at a situation of blaming the Universe for the things that are happening.

But if we think of this episode as the Destiny, we become responsible for the wrong happenings that take place in our life might be because of some of our past actions.


I know that all these things related to Fate and Destiny are some blurry images against us and we are not able to properly understand it. And the only reason behind that is the Influence that we have of the others and the Past Events. 

The Influence of Comparing ourselves with other's life, influence for showing our country superior to other's and for that doing Developments without thinking of the Environment.

These developments are defined as necessity now but we are not able to understand that these comparisons and developments are the reason of the Natural Calamities that are taking place and of course one day this all will end and it won't be natural but it will be A Destined course of Actions of our Humans only.


So let's start taking responsibility of the wrong doings that we are doing in the name of development, understand the difference between Fate and Destiny and ultimately try to save our own selves from the Lies that we tell to the whole world as well as our own selves.

Fate is decided by Universe but Destiny is something which plays role for any living person. We might not be able to change others but atleast let's try to change ourselves for accepting the truth and take responsibility of saving our Planet and our own selves
