Happy Mother's day???

(Below written article is a general article which is based on personal views and statistics and it doesn't point to any individual)


According to the statistics, Out of the total population, around 10-12% are the elderly people and out of that elderly people, 45-50% are the old parents who are staying alone.
So a question arose in my mind that where are the children of that 50% old age people who are staying alone??

Simple answer to that is - Earning,working and enjoying with their wife and children.

And when do they remember their parents??
On Mother's day, Father's day or during festivals.
On these days they will wish them, Dedicate this day to them, give them gifts and then again for the rest of the year, forget them.

See guys, our parents never want a gift. They never want us to wish them or dedicate any thing to them. What there only requirement is our time.
Even though when their children comes home after 3 to 4 months, they will get a smile on their face by seeing their child  and make our favorite food so that their children may have a feel of coming back home where they have actually grown up. But what they will not show us is the dire need of their children with them at the last stage of their life. They also have a desire of playing with their grandchildren, teach different things liked by their children to cook to the daughter-in-laws so that after they are gone, they can make them for their husband.

But we are so blind for earning money that we move and settle to a different city or country and then once or twice in a month we call them and talk to them Or wish them on these days of mother or father. That's it.
Is it enough?

I don't think so. What actually required is to Either call them to the place where you stay or coming back to the parents that have helped you and shaped you to the person who you are today.  What will happen? You will start earning less amount of money? So what. You won't be jobless that's for sure. But you will be with your family, the family that has love. The family that has fights. The family where each one's happiness is dependant on others happiness.

But wait a second, is the fault of all this getting separated kind of thing only of these children?
No. Not true. Actually the major fault is of their parents.
Parents are the first guide of any child and the child gets shaped into what they wanted to shape. Earning more money might not have been a desire of a child when he was young but their parents shape them to concentrate more on money rather then relations.
In some cases, even though being a middle case family, having the only child, still they will send their child to a different country or a city for making him earn more money and here they will stay alone and will face all the problems. And There, their only  child will earn good and enjoy even better.

Let's accept this reality check and try to change ourselves. Not for anyone but for them who gave you birth, for them who gave you the education, for them who were always there by your side in any situation and for them who are now alone and need you.
Go get the education from wherever you want but atleast come back to settle down with your parents. That's the only request that I can ask.

For me every day is a Mother's Day or a Father's Day and so Today I say no to these kind of days and I promise my parents that no matter what I will serve them, enjoy with them and be with them for the rest of my life.
