Taapsee Pannu’s first Tamil movie revolves around the story of Swapna, a game developer who had a very dark and creepy year of 2018, where the movie starts with a girl being followed by someone and gets beheaded with body being burnt. PLOT AND IT’S MESSAGE:- First half of the movie shows the story of Swapna, who got raped one year ago. The movie is trying to show us the mental state of a woman who got raped in darkness and how the phobia of darkness takes her body control which neither allows her to live properly nor die peacefully.  We all always try to create a big issue against rape cases but we never try to understand that creating all these issues actually is making that woman weaker which is clearly depicted in this movie where Swapna was sitting in a café and 2 men were starring at her and comparing her with someone in their mobile and laughing. After seeking into their mobile, Swapna came to know that her pictures of being raped had got viral in social media...

PLOT 1 The movie starts with introduction of Ishan Awasti( Role played by Darsheel Safari), a notorious boy, having no interest in studies but a keen interest in painting, having no friends other than street dogs whom he used to feed daily. Because of his notorious nature, his father always used to scold him and warned him to become a studious student and be a topper or else Ishan will be kept in a boarding school away from home. He never used to get proper love and attention from his father as he wasn’t as brilliant as his elder brother. And so when Ishan failed in 3 rd Standard, he was sent to boarding school by his father without understanding his actual problem.
