Lets Learn from Bollywood- TAARE ZAMEEN PAR

PLOT 1
The movie starts with introduction of Ishan Awasti( Role played by Darsheel Safari), a notorious boy, having no interest in studies but a keen interest in painting, having no friends other than street dogs whom he used to feed daily.
Because of his notorious nature, his father always used to scold him and warned him to become a studious student and be a topper or else Ishan will be kept in a boarding school away from home.
He never used to get proper love and attention from his father as he wasn’t as brilliant as his elder brother.
And so when Ishan failed in 3rd Standard, he was sent to boarding school by his father without understanding his actual problem.
MESSAGE-
In this world of competition, most of the parents just want their child to compete with everyone in class rather than focusing on their child’s actual strength and interest. And so when they are not able to compete, they scold their child and some of them also beat them without understanding the reason of failure.
Children need parents’ guidance and love at their growing age or else there are chances for the child to develop negative feelings and getting him into the wrong company. So it’s necessary to think more than twice before keeping your immature child to any boarding school unless there are some circumstances.
In the song “ Kya Itna bura hoon main maa”, Ishan is trying to ask her mother that am I so bad that I need to stay away from you and you and your love??? I have no rights to be with my family and enjoy with them??? I am still afraid of darkness and yet you kept me alone. Is this so necessary???

PLOT 2
In the boarding school, when a question was asked by a teacher to Ishan, he tried to give the correct answer but as it wasn’t according to the book, that teacher scolded him and the whole class started laughing at him which again broke down his confidence.
MESSAGE-
A child in his growing age requires mental support for facing this world when he grows up. And for that, parents and teachers are the most responsible person for a child’s growth but when the child is not able to receive it, he does some notorious activities or doesn’t behave properly to gain his parents attention towards him. Here I am not saying that a teacher or parents should be strict with the child but along with strictness, required element is the support- support to keep the confidence high, support to make the child face any kind of situation alone, support to make that child supportive also to others as and when needed and this support will help the parents to understand their child properly which will ultimately lead to proper shaping of that child.

PLOT-3
Now comes the entry of Aamir Khan as an arts teacher in the boarding school where Ishan was studying. When his lecture is in the class of Ishan, he asks each student to draw to which a student raised a question that “There is nothing drawn on the board then what will we draw??” Here Aamir replies that “this board is very small in front of anyone’s imagination, take a snapshot of whatever you imagine and spit it out on the drawing paper.”
MESSAGE-
Childs imagination power has no limit and when this imagination is given proper shape and support by their parents, then that child can achieve anything in his future making him happy to do the work he like rather than being forced to do work.

PLOT-4
Ishan’s mother calls up Ishan to say that they won’t be able to come to meet him that weekend as Ishan’s elder brother had a Tennis Match and she is very sorry for that.
MESSAGE-
Even though Parents might be non-partial for their children, but when a child expiernces ignorance continuously, their negative feelings towards their loved ones and these world increases making him alone, lonely and depressed which when not noticed by their parents might lead to serious mental damage of that child.

PLOT-5
The elder brother of Ishan lost his game to which his father got unhappy and so he ignored his son.
MESSAGE-
We all always want to win in everything and so when we lose, we get depressed or give up losing interest in that thing but what we don’t realize is that losing is just for a period of time and learning from that is going to be permanent which will eventually make you a master.

PLOT-6
Ishan had a great imagination power due to which he was very good in drawing but as he was sent away from home, he also gave up the only thing he liked to do.
MESSAGE-
Each and every person in this world is good in one or the other thing and if properly focused or supported, he can be a successful person.
We all lack in understanding that a person’s interest in doing something is due to love and support he is gets from the surrounding and when he stops receiving that, he is not able to continue with the things that he liked and so it can be said that love, affection and support has a great strength to shape and make anyone achieve the things that they like.

PLOT-7
Aamir asks Ishan’s father that “Do you even know why is he behaving like this?” to which Ishan’s father had no answer but the actual answer was that Ishan was suffering from Dyslexia.
MESSAGE-
Here comes the real problem that we always keep complaining about someone but never try to get deep to understand the reason of that problem.
When a child is not able to compete but still he is forced to compete, his self-confidence keeps getting lower making him shameful for what he is and all this takes place because of not focusing on the actual interest of the child and just making him the competitor for achieving the marks.

PLOT-8
Ishan realized that Aamir was trying to help him and so just a little support from Aamir helped Ishan to start having interest in studies and also brought back his interest towards painting.
MESSAGE-
“Weight of Parents ambitions are given to their children which is worse than child labor” told by Aamir which is absolutely correct as no-one knows if that child is even interested in that ambition or is being forced to achieve that.
Caring and loving has the power to cure any kind of mental state as it gives satisfaction to a person that there is someone to support you making him confident to tackle anyone and achieve anything.

So I will finally conclude by saying that being an elder, many mistakes would have been made by you or would have seen others making mistakes in the past. So whenever you find anyone repeating that kind of mistake, please don’t ignore it and guide him making him understand the right thing and also tell him to guide someone else whom he sees repeating that kind of mistake and thus the chain goes on.
Each and every person is guide for someone who needs help. The only thing required is the passion to change this world to live united rather than competing and betraying others.
