Recognizing The Truth

We all face a common issue in knowing the other person. At times, we cannot judge whether the other person is speaking truth or not. But we never try to understand why are we not able to take judgement in recognizing the truth.

When we talk with any person, there are always 2 chances- The other person might be lying or the other person might be speaking truth. But how to recognize that person is the biggest question that needs to be answered.

Truth is something that can be realized but lie is something that needs to be invented. Whenever a person lies, he creates a story to tell where he tries to cover all the facts in different manner and develops a new story which actually never happened.

But when any person says truth, it's always natural. The whole story is exactly how he got to know i.e. the other person has experienced the story that he is portraying. So we can take our first judgement for knowing the truth by the story that he has experienced.

Next point that we need to focus upon will be consistency. Does the story that has been stated by the other person have the consistency or is there any breakage of proof or loopholes in between that are not been answered properly by the other person can help us to decide the truthfulness of the other person.

The next step is to compare our knowledge with the stated story. If someone says that the sun revolves around the earth but if we have the knowledge, we would compare that and give an instant reply that its not sun that revolves, it’s the earth that rotates due to which we feel that sun is revolving.

So when we are able to feel the experience, see the consistency and compare our knowledge, then we can conclude over the truthfulness of the other person with you.

Still there is one more hindrance which doesn't allow us to recognize the truth in real sense and that is- Stubbornness

We all are stubborn with some of our beliefs due to which whenever we hear anything which doesn’t fit into that belief, we never accept it even though that might be true. We can say that these beliefs are the reason there are still wrong doings done in the name of Dharmas.

We think that our beliefs are true but many times these truth is based upon the stories that we have only heard and not experienced, also it doesn’t have any consistency but still we get bound to believe in that story just because of one reason- our Stubbornness towards that belief which we never try to question for knowing the actual truth.

So if we really need to recognize the truth, start accepting by saying good bye to Stubbornness, start experiencing by observing things properly, start analyzing the consistency and keep your knowledge updated about things happening around you. As a result, you will see truth in front of your eyes.
