Placebo- A Mind Control Treatment


In medical terms, when there is a result to be obtained with no treatment is known as placebo effect i.e. sometimes a patient who is totally fine is not ready to accept it and so in such cases doctor prescribes him a placebo which is actually a sugar pill or a sterile water after which that patient gets satisfied as he received a treatment and makes him normal.
That patient was totally normal from start but due to his thinking over his illness, his mind got stuck over for getting a treatment and so when he received a treatment even though it wasn’t one, his mind got satisfied and he recovered.

In normal conditions also our mind keeps on thinking many things out of which 80% things are repeated in our mind and these repetition gets us into overthinking which sometimes makes us do things which we never even wished for and so requires a placebo-like treatment.
So having control over our mind should be a primary objective as everything else is related directly to our thinking process. Our mind generate thoughts created from the flow of thoughts of other people that we see (i.e. a person will do same things as other people are doing without even thinking of its pros and cons) or sometimes it is influenced by overthinking. These are the problem faced by common people which just set their mind on the basis of the thoughts flowing around from the surroundings.

But just as each question paper has its own answer book, we also have our own answer book which is known as subconscious mind or Intelligence. Whenever we take any step, this intelligence always gives an answer but many times it’s not reachable to us as the mind created by thoughts from the surrounding is more influential than the intelligence and so even if an alarm is given by the subconscious mind, it won’t be reachable to stop us from doing something wrong.

Now the placebo effect that our mind requires to be in control is as follows:-
  • 'LIFE IS CHANGE, CHANGE IS LIFE'- The mandatory thing that is required to have control over our mind is to accept the changes even though that change is very tough to accept. If we just stuck ourselves into the past or keep ourselves rigid in a particular decision then results might not be fruitful and so change and acceptance are very much important to control our mind.
  • The next step towards mind control is POSITIVE THINKING. We all are experts in creating negative thoughts i.e. when you think that your life has become a chaos and you require some peace and relaxation. Suddenly second thought pops up that everyone is living a chaotic life and now it has become a necessity. So you won’t even try to achieve peace as a negative thought got empowered in front of positive thought. But thinking about it with another scenario, if you kept thinking positively that yes peace will be achieved and will also get relaxed by doing what is liked by me then you will definitely find a way to achieve it as here your sub-conscious mind gets ready to find an answer for you.

GOING WITH THE POSITIVE THOUGHTS HELP ANYONE IN ACHIEVING UNBELIEVABLE THINGS AND MAKES A BETTER PERSON.

  • The next placebo effect required for mind control which is PATIENCE. We all have become so restless in this competitive world that waiting for something makes us feel like we are a failure in ourselves and so when we are not able to achieve our goals, we become restless and our mind gives up. But we all need to keep in our mind that every goal is a process of achievements as well as failures but our mind has already created thoughts from the surrounding that failure means the end and so we give up on achieving it and make us feel like a inferior personality which weakens our intelligence and just makes us follow what common people does.

"Just like Nature doesn’t run yet accomplishes everything, we should also give time and have control on our mind in achieving something."

  • The next step towards controlling our mind is LEARNING FROM PAST EXPERIENCES. There are always many failure and heartbreaks taken place in everyone’s life but not moving on from it creates negative thoughts which ultimately doesn’t allow us to listen to our sub-conscious mind but what actually required is to take learning from all the past experiences and when a similar situation arises, what are the revised steps which are to be taken is to be planned out which will keep our mind in control and stop us from repeating that mistake again.
  • And the most important step for keeping our mind in control which is a sum up of the above written article is to NEVER THINK WHAT WILL OTHERS THINK. Thinking and doing what others do is the most common disease in everyone and so any decision which is to be taken by our intelligence, instead is actually taken by the thoughts flowing around us as the first thing that appears in our mind is that “If I fail in achieving what I am trying to do, what will the people think???”
